Trump's Election Sparks Crypto Rally
Bitcoin has surged to an all-time high above $81,300 USD, with Ethereum rising by 28% and Solana rising by 28 % in the past week, as investors anticipate a more favourable regulatory environment under his stewardship. Trump made several crypto-related promises during his campaign, including to fire SEC Chair Gary Gensler.
Trump's NFT collection though has grown, but the number of users involved leaves a lot to be desired. The first series of the NFT remains the most popular.

OpenSea December Reboot
OpenSea has announced a beta version of a new platform scheduled to launch in December 2024.
One of the first users @johnweth_ to test the new features posted a thread about his experience using OpenSea v2.
User Interface. OpenSea v2 offers a new homepage that displays the collections with the highest volume, highest movements over the last day, highest sales for the week, and trending collections. There's also a toggle switch at the top of the UI that is slightly off-center, allowing users to switch between NFT on Ethereum and Base.
Profile section offers much more than before, allowing users to get a more comprehensive view of all their wallet activity on one page.
Leaderboard. It looks like OpenSea v2 will have a leaderboard for top ranked users, and they will be rewarded for posting items and bidding/bidding on the best collections. We've seen this somewhere before...
Farming. It looks like there will be a loyalty program. Users will be rewarded with a loyalty % for placing assets only on OpenSea; the higher the loyalty score, the more XP you'll earn. Top bidders will also get a boost to their points:
- Top 100-51: 1.2x
- Top 50-26: 1.5x
- Top 25-11: 2x
- Top 10: 2.5x
OG Rewards. Users who have used OpenSea in the past will be rewarded. More details on when and how, as well as eligibility, will be clarified.
A potential token? There has always been speculation about the possible launch of an OpenSea token, and with Donald Trump's rise to the US presidency, conditions for US companies have gotten much better, which in particular increases the chances of an OpenSea token being launched.
Pudgy Penguins
Pudgy Penguins is set to enter the mobile gaming market with Pudgy Party, a party game developed in partnership with Mythical Games. Pudgy Party will hit the global markets on iOS and Android platforms in 2025. Core gameplay elements include dodging obstacles, developing gathering strategies, and competing or cooperating with other players. Players can customize their penguin characters.
Let's compare these trends

Top Collections
The buzzing penguin news increased the collection's trading volume by a significant 253%, but this only allowed it to reach 6th place. DMarket maintained last week's lead. It was followed by Cryptopunks and Bitcoin Puppets

Top Blockchains
Among blockchains, Ethereum remains the leader with $34 million in sales. Bitcoin grows, and Trump followers don't seem to know about NFT on the rest of the networks.
