Returnable NFTs. BLASTR NFTs combine ERC721 standards with a unique twist. Minting involves locking ETH into an NFT contract for a certain amount of time. After the lock-in period ends, these NFTs are effectively free as you can get a full refund. Refuse to do so? Simply request a refund, the NFT will be burned and your ETH returned, making NFT ownership flexible and risk-free.
Creators earn income through BLAST's own yield (ETH) accrued on the ETH locked in their NFT contracts, which can be directly received by the developer's wallet. BLASTR charges a nominal fee on the total revenue, providing a transparent revenue model.
BLASTR contracts are ERC721 NFT compliant, allowing NFTs to be transferred or sold on any secondary market platform. When pricing NFTs, it is important to keep in mind that the buyer has the option to get a refund after the lock-in period expires. For example, if you list an NFT for 0.1 ETH and sell it for 0.2 ETH, the buyer will be entitled to a refund of 0.1 ETH for that NFT.
BLASTR contracts ensure that all NFTs can be refundable after the end of the lock-in period, making minting effectively "no-cost". If you find that an NFT is no longer suitable for your needs, you can initiate a refund process. When you apply for a refund, the NFT is burned and the originally blocked ETH is returned to your wallet, providing a flexible and secure NFT experience. In addition, all returned NFTs can be subsequently re-minted, providing additional opportunities for creators and collectors.
